Following the recent negative response received by Ugandan Entertainment awards after their failed second edition at Kampala Serena hotel last week, the organizing committee is seeking a new name to rebrand the awards.
The awards have been bashed ranging from the poor execution at the event with poor programing, the cracky nomination list and lack of remarkable recognition.
Well, they might have hired South Africa's Bonang Matheba to host the red carpet and also the promised a live broadcast on E entertainment which never came to pass but can say Ugandans are now past the level of being corned off their money.
Speaking to the awards director Kabs Haloha who also doubles as a television host on Urban television; notified us that he will seek a new name for Public relations reasons to dust off the yielding criticisms.
"I will take on a new name as East African awards'' he said.
He further more notified us that the official rebrand will take place on the 9th December this year and Nigerian's Fally Pupa will grace the occasion
