Diamond Platnumz Beats Chameleone, Bebe Cool and Kenzo Hands Down At AFRIMMA

Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz garnered the Best Male East Africa award at the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) in Dallas, Texas on Sunday.

Bongo superstar also coined ‘King of collabos’ Diamond Platnumz, shockingly toppled household names such Bebe Cool, Eddy Kenzo, Ali Kiba, Sauti Sol and Jose Chameleone.

Nigerian comedian Basketmouth and American supermodel, reality television star and actress Cynthia Bailey hosted the third edition of the prestigious show. AFRIMMA is a diaspora award ceremony crafted to celebrate all genres of African Music.
