Last year, singer Irene Ntale signed a deal with a US health NGO as their brand ambassador while she was still signed under Swangz Avenue. She signed along aside comedian Patrick Idringi and both received 70m.

Swangz Avenue received the money on behalf of Ntale according to the sources. When the US NGO landed on the news of Ntale’s departure, they ordered Ntale and Swangz Avenue to refund the money since they had breached the contract.

This was after Ntale refused to meet the contract demands saying she is now a solo artiste and can make her own decisions. When the NGO contacted her, she told them to go to Swangz Avenue for the money. Swangz management say they had paid the money to Ntale so they can’t refund. She has distanced herself from them.

Irene Ntale has further revealed that ever since she joined Swangz, she had not done any serious investment from the money she was getting. She added that the money she used to buy a plot of land around Entebbe road was from personal deals.
