He started his career in a male group known as the Klea Kut. Daniel Kigozi stage name Navio was surely destined for success. The five male group consisted of The Myth, Papito, Abba Lang and Jb and of course Navio who released their first commercial urban song titled ‘All I wanna know’ in 2002 featuring song bird Juliana Kanyomozi that saw them accelerate the local music scene. However, along the way, the group split each taking a solo career.

Navio maintained a steady progress and over the years he has fed fans on hits like Ngaalo, Nawulilanga, Ndi Mukodo, and One and only among others.

Last year, the English rapper switched tactics and diverted to doing Afro beat especially with local instrumentation and the popular jam that won overwhelming support was ‘Njogereza’ which also scooped the Afrima song writer of the year. This year, he has yet again followed it up with "Tumunonye" another Afro beat song which the common man would term as Kadongo Kamu.

Sources within her camp intimated to us that Navio is trying to tap in another market. He is trying to appeal to a vast audience which previously didn’t listen to his music. He has realized that English raps don't pay a lot apart from being invited to sing for kids especially on prom parties and Kadankes.

Another possible reason for switching to Kadongo Kamu would be poor decision making. After Njogereza receiving a massive air play, he thought that it was time to take that direction. However,’Tumunyoye’ has failed to receive massive airplay. The song is not making money for him. Navio, Kindly please bring back the rap game !!!!
