The prestigious Zzina Awards 2018 were held at Sky beach, Freedom City under the theme 'Listeners' Choice Edition' by the funkiest urban youth Radio station, 100.2 Galaxy FM, Zzina.
The event was attended by artistes and TV personalities like Chameleone, B2C , Nina, Femeica, Roz, Vinka, Sheila Gashumba, Argatha Loswash and many others.
The highlight of the night was when one of the singers in the singing group arrived at the awards ceremony with unmatching pair of shoes; a red one and a white sneaker.
Sources within their camp say it was neither a mistake nor a fashion stunt but it was a good luck charm symbol.
The move was intended to help them walk away with the awards of the categories they were nominated in and it paid off. They took home two accolades; song of the year and best Afro beat song of the year.
However we cannot authoritatively confirm the claims as the singers are yet to respond.
