Grenade’s manager, Derrick Orone who is now a Member of Parliament elect for Gogonyo Constituency, Palisa district has vowed to continue working with musicians and pushing for agendas that benefit the industry even though he has never earned a coin from it.
In an interview, he said he has over the years invested heavily in the music business but he hasn't had a return on the investment.
Orone came to prominence when he was managing David Lutalo and later Mary Bata.
Grenade recently pleaded with him to continue investing money in his career.
According to Orone, his passion will keep him involved in the business. He said he earns most of his money from his labor recruitment agency
