2021 has been a year with little activity in the entertainment industry due to restrictions imposed by the government to curb the spread of Covid-19. That has, however, not stopped new promising talent from sprouting.
With President Museveni’s promise to fully open all sectors in January, talents that were born in 2021 are looking forward to fully establishing themselves in the industry.
Here are artists to watch in 2022;
1. Liam Voice
At the Janzi Awards, Liam scooped two accolades; for the best RnB artist and songwriter.
Although the credibility of the Janzi Awards was highly contested by many, Liam’s ability can’t be questioned. He has been responsible for some impressive songs "Love Olinonya", "Bus" and "Omwoyo" among others.
2. Victor Ruz
His song "Love Legend" made him popular.
Mc Kats, a passionate music lover, prophesied that he will be the next big thing. He is versatile.

3. An Known Prosper
An Known, 23, is already making waves in the industry, thanks to his song "Radio Tonelabira" which has been well-received.
His vocal prowess promises to make him a force to reckon with.
4. Martha Mukisa
She has Eddy Kenzo to thank for helping her shine in the industry after working together on the song titled, "Sango".
The song catapulted her visibility in the industry. It also gave her the courage to release more songs, and she is promising to be a great music star.
5. Kataleya & Kandle
The new girl group has done well so far with songs like "Do Me", and "Omuzibe Wa Love"
Not so many girl groups have survived in Uganda, but they might have to sit down with B2C to learn the survival tricks of the industry.
If they continue with the current pace, they are going to go higher.
