Musician Eddy Kenzo is one of the most celebrated African artists. In 2015, he won the BET Award which is one of the most prestigious awards internationally. 

The singer usually expressed his worries over disunity in the Ugandan music industry. He now believes the old-school musicians are not doing enough to end the vice.

He says the leaders of the Uganda Musician Association (UMA) have to look beyond selfish interests and work toward the well-being of all musicians. 

"I have a problem with the association, I think it's not on the right track. It has created division among musicians in the industry. The leaders must focus on working for the good of all musicians, " he explains. 

The singer confirms he will not take part in the coming UMA elections.
