Musician Eddy Kenzo is not happy with Ugandan politicians claiming they are not helping in the development of the music industry.
Speaking at Kato Lubwama's vigil, Kenzo explained that musicians who mix music and politics are dragging the industry backward.
Kenzo said the musicians are free to work with politicians in their capacities to achieve their own goals.
"We can work with politicians but they should stop trying to influence their interests in the industry," he said.
Kenzo said many musicians fear to give out their opinions for fear of being castigated by members of different political parties.
