Hajjat Madiina, also known as Madina Nambooze Kansiime, a former popular singer of Bibuuza fame, has accused the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) of favoring a select group of individuals.

Despite having her contact information, Madiina expressed her frustration at never being invited to UNMF meetings.

She criticized the federation for labeling artists like her as faded and not contributing to the industry. Madiina stated that UNMF selects a specific group they consider prominent and urged them to enjoy their money.

She clarified that she does not align with UMA or UNMF, as she believes their intentions lack a specific focus on industry change.

However, she would support the side with the most compelling ideas. Both UMA and UNMF are committed to pushing for copyright law implementation.

Madiina acknowledged her lack of knowledge about copyright issues, holding the federation responsible for not adequately educating artists.
