Musician Cinderella Sanyu, also known as Cindy, was among the first individuals to decline Kenzo's invitation to join the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF).
Despite several meetings between UNMF, the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA), and Cindy's leadership, they firmly declined the opportunity to collaborate with the federation.
Cindy publicly criticized the federation, asserting that it appeared to be just another venture seeking financial gain from political figures.
Cindy maintains that Kenzo has persistently implored her to join the federation, yet she has consistently rejected the offer.
She stated, "They have repeatedly approached me to become part of the federation, but I have laid out my requirements. I need to perceive them as committed individuals driven by more than just monetary motives. I am seeking a clear understanding of their objectives, and once they demonstrate that, I may consider aligning my team with them."
Cindy holds the viewpoint that the federation lacks significance without the leadership of UMA, which stands as the most prominent association in the country.
