Struggling musician King Michael has been promoting a music concert for over two years now.
Initially, the singer had planned for the concert to take place at Lugogo Cricket Oval. However, it appears that things did not unfold as he had hoped, leading to a change in the venue.
He recently announced that the show has been relocated to Lido Beach and will now be more of a family day out than a traditional concert. Moreover, there's been a change in the event's date, rescheduled to the 16th of September this year.
The singer shared that his mother's advice played a pivotal role in deciding the new venue, considering the significant personal history he has with Lido Beach.
"I hold tremendous affection for my mother, so when she suggested moving the show to Lido Beach, I embraced the idea. The event is now set for September 16th this year, and I extend a warm welcome to all my fans," he conveyed during an interview with a local television station.
Additional reports indicate that King Michael encountered difficulties securing the Lugogo Cricket Oval venue due to inadequate funds to meet the management's requirements. Unfortunately, his inability to book the venue in a timely manner, combined with a lack of new music to offer his fans, contributed to concerns of the event being unsuccessful.
