Popular DJ and media personality Nimrod stirred controversy on a recent Galaxy FM radio show with his frank views on the music industry, particularly regarding "the Big Three" - Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine, and Chameleone.
When asked to rank the trio musically for the year, Nimrod placed Bobi Wine second, sparking debate with his reasoning. He acknowledged Bobi Wine's hit "Labisa" but criticized his perceived lack of active contribution to the industry despite vocal comments.
"He talks a lot but takes no action, unlike Eddy Kenzo, who is fighting for copyright through the music Federation. These are the things that Bobi Wine should be doing," Nimrod stated.
Nimrod's criticism extended to Bebe Cool, claiming he had a musically weak year, "forcing music on the fans to like it."
Interestingly, Nimrod holds an association with Firebase, Bobi Wine's music label, reportedly serving in a music promotion role.
