Early this month, Swangz Avenue announced they would be recording a single album featuring all musicians under the label and a few other talented acts.

"We want to experiment with something different. The songs on the album will be like Nwagi featuring Azawi, Elijah Kitaka featuring Zafaran. It's not that all of them will feature on each song on the album; we shall also feature other artists outside the label," a representative said in an interview with a local television station.

They revealed the album will be released in October this year.

On Wednesday this week, the Swangz Avenue team, including producers, writers, artists, and their managers, including bosses Julius Kyazze and Benon, left for Zanzibar.

Through their social media, on Thursday evening, they kicked off recording sessions.

"Day 1 of the Swangz Creative Camp in Zanzibar has been a blast! Our talented artists have begun their incredible journey, collaborating and creating magic," read a statement on Swangz Avenue's Facebook page.

Many Ugandans are already anticipating magic on the album and can't wait for its release.
