Kadongo Kamu singer and NUP member Mathias Walukaaga has advised fellow singer Azawi to release revolutionary music instead of just speaking words to the government.
Walukaaga explained that speaking against injustices is a good thing, but the message doesn't go far because many people lack smartphones.
He believes music reaches all over the country because when it is released, it's played on radios, which spreads to deep villages.
"Speaking against injustices is a good thing, but it's not enough. You go to the studio and release music calling out these injustices, and then your message goes all over the place because it's played on local media, especially radio stations," he said in part in an interview with Spark Television.
Azawi has lately been very critical of the government because of injustices in society, and she has been doing so through X spaces.
