Musician Sheebah Karungi held her annual concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval over the weekend.
The event was successful, and by 8:00 PM, the crowd of Sheebaholics was nearly at full capacity.
As promised, Sheebah revealed her pregnancy to her fans, which was the highlight of the night. She also revealed the baby's gender. The blue theme and white balloons signaled that she’s expecting a boy.
Everything was blue, from the dancers to the performers, including Sheebah, who wore a blue-themed dress during her last segment on stage.
However, Sheebah struggled with her live performance, and it was evident that she had not fully rehearsed with the Maestro band, who served as the lead backup singers.
Often, their rhythm and sound did not align, and several times, the singer's timing was off compared to the band.
Secondly, the sound producer and engineer did a poor job. On many occasions, the microphones stopped working, and the sound didn’t reach the back of the audience.
Sheebah performed many of her hit songs and collaborations for hours. Nevertheless, many were more impressed by her pregnancy reveal than her performance.
It’s worth noting that Sheebah’s best performance of the night was her collaboration "Njalwala" with Aaronix and "Njiila Love," a song she did with Sama Sojah.
Other artists who performed alongside Sheebah included King Saha, Kabako, Kapa Cat, Young Mulo, Carol Nantogo, and others.
