In September this year, Eddy Kenzo made headlines after accusing Bobi Wine of copying some of his songs, which eventually led to his exit from Firebase.

He claimed Bobi Wine plagiarized "Yaniba" to release "Promise" and did the same with "Musonyiwe," releasing "Sonyiwa Munno."

Paddy Man, who was the mastermind behind all the songs, explained that Eddy Kenzo should understand that many songs can emerge from the same musical codes during production.

He advised the UNMF President to do more research on music to gain a better understanding. He further explained that the same codes were used in the production of Chameleon's song "Basiima Ogenze."

"It's unfortunate that such a statement came from the President of Musicians and a presidential advisor. I think he still needs to do more research on music. The songs were all derived from the same codes, and it's the same code used in Chameleon's 'Basiima Ogenze.' He needs to be more careful next time before making such allegations," he said in part during an interview with a local YouTuber.

Paddy Man is a legendary producer, and together with Tonny Houls, they produced several songs for Bobi Wine.
