Music critic Eddie Sendie, a music critic for over fifteen years, has consistently sparked debate in the Ugandan music industry with his opinions.
Sendie now believes that Ugandan music is losing value every day, and artists need to improve its quality.
He explained that current musicians produce low-quality music, which is why many people have turned to older songs, finding them more appealing.
"The artists need to do better because our music is losing value and quality every day. It's trash, and that's one of the reasons people have turned to older songs—they are more appealing to them and their communities," he said in part during an interview with a local television station.
