Musician Azawi has consistently been at the top of Ugandan music for five years and seems poised to remain there for years to come.
The singer explained that she goes beyond just singing and performing, constantly challenging herself to improve every day.
She practices regularly and conducts extensive research on music, which keeps her updated on the evolving dynamics of the industry.
"I want to get better every time, and staying comfortable is dangerous. I always challenge myself to do more, research extensively, and think outside the box. I practice for perfection. To me, music is more than just a job; it's a passion," she explained in an interview with a local television station.
Azawi made her breakthrough in 2020 with the release of her EP, which featured songs like Lo-Fit, Quinamino, and Crazy Lover, among others.
