CODE is a young African hip hop artist who hails from Uganda. His love for music began at age 13 and most of his rap influences sprung from the likes of Jay Z, Kanye West, Eminem and Nas. Back home he looked up to the likes of Klear Kut.
He began working on his craft, learning the basics from these influences and created a rapper whose flow, diction and wordplay are slowly grasping his hometown, Kampala.
He performed at the talent shows at his high school and there he discovered his desire to be a musician. Fast forward to 2012, CODE took his rapping to another level, performed at even bigger stages, became a proud member of GEUrban and has now become a force to reckon with in the UG Hip Hop Scene today, following the mainstream success of his hit song, SHUT IT DOWN and the SHUT IT DOWN ALL STAR REMIX.
