In a revolutionary turn of events, one of the most prolific personalities in Ugandan music is being unleashed on one of the biggest authorities in Music Television in East Africa. The Mith has officially been announced as the new host of “Smash” on Urban TV.
Having just wrapped a deal to record a brand new Klear Kut Album, his own Album and Tour later in the year, “The Mith” will also be taking the reigns on a TV show, transforming it into something brand new. Alongside one of
the hottest Ugandan jockeys on the scene, Dj Crim will be sure to take every show to higher heights.
It is hard to believe that this will be one of the few shows that is 100 percent African. Reporting on music that is relevant to Ugandans, by Ugandans for Ugandans, but with African music as a whole being the focus point.
As lucrative as this year is turning out for The Mith, viewers and followers alike are teaming to see his concise, direct, rambunctious and controversial style brought to life.
Every Saturday at 8:30pm, viewers will be able to see and All-African HipHop affair with a 30-minute profile interview on the artists, producers, movers and shakers in the African industry now. There will be a re-run on Thursday at 11:30am.
