The Ganda Boys trio of Daniel, Craig and Denis
The trio of Denis Mugagga, Daniel and Craig Pruess are yet to fix a date for the show because of their busy European schedule. We put a question to Daniel;
Are the Ganda boys making time for a concert in Uganda this year?
Daniel Sewagudde:
I am not sure! The band is too big to air lift to Uganda just a year after our recent show. We are in talks with our partners to find a conducive date. However, the year seems full with arrangements to perform at the prestigious festival called the Fringe during the summer, I can’t guarantee Uganda 2014. Our music is soulful with a touch of many of our folk songs, fused with western funk and rock but most of all produced and arranged by a world-class music producer and Ganda Boy Craig Pruess.
Ganda Boy’s Busy Schedule
During December 2013, the Ganda boys performed for the Nnabagereka’s foundation at Kampala Serena Hotel. The boys donated laboratory equipment worth 20,000 pounds to Kawolo pounds. The trio starts 2014 with a charity fundraising dinner slated for 25th of February at the London Royal Docks. The proceeds will go towards raising funds for their charitable projects in Uganda.
A show dabbed singing for the oceans where the Ganda boys are headliners will take place on 25th of April at the prestigious Royal Pholhamonic concert orchestra. The boys will share the stage with Grammy award artists and platinum and gold record producers. Shortly before this, they will have played in Livingston/ Scotland where they will share our culture and ways of life in music with the Scots during this important year when they make a decision on their independence.
