Some years back, Songstress Grace Nakimera was a major presence on the local music scene. She did not have to hustle much to have her songs played on radio and Television stations, but things have changed upside down lately and she is certainly struggling to make a shine again.
Latest rumor coming through has it that the Ssesa singer was conned of 5 million Uganda shillings by a local Music promoter, a source explains....
" Grace coughed up Ugx5 million to a Music promoter ( i won't tell you his name ) to promote her new songs especially Ssessa the new one. The guy went into hiding few days after receiving the money and didn't do the work assigned to him "
The insider adds that Nakimera was reluctant to take any legal action because she had no written evidence to back her claims that she cashed out money to the music promoter.
