After several threats and terrorism attacks registered the in East African region, Uganda police has organized a one week Training workshop housing an East African delegation aimed at increasing detectives' abilities to deal with the events.

The one week 3rd and last East African CID and detectives' training of trainers course was this morning opened by the director forensics Leny Mugaru on behalf of the IGP, and is being attended by all East African countries delegates from Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda.

After this project, all detectives will train more others in their respective countries.

This is the 3rd and last Training in the region under the facilitation of German government (police).

The direct forensics Mugaru says it is aimed at curbing insecurity in the region.
