Former spy master Gen. David Tinyefuza alias Sejusa will tomorrow Tuesday be arraigned before the Makindye court-martial to answer charges that are yet to me thrown against him.
Sejusa was arrested on Sunday morning at his residence in Kampala before being whisked away to Makindye military barracks where he is being held.
According to Moses Bigirwa, the spokesperson and chief aide of the General, many soldiers stormed his (Sejusa’s) residence to arrest him and Gen. Sejusa did not resist before being driven out of his compound in a convoy.
According to the army spokesperson Lt. Col. Paddy Ankunda, Sejusa will be arraigned before court-martial tomorrow and the media have been advised to come and witness the proceedings, including the charges which will be read to him.
The general’s arrest comes barely two weeks to the general elections. His Lawyers David Mushabe and Mike Mabikke say they have been denied access to their client at Makindye Military barracks, and told they could only see him on a Wednesday or Saturday.
