A month ago, a group of assailants ambuscaded and murdered former Police Spokesperson of the Uganda Police, Andrew Felix Kaweesi, his bodyguard and driver as he left his home in Kulambiro for work.
Immediately after the murder, security organs promised to investigate the incidence to its right conclusion – bringing the killers to justice! The latest information we have landed on is that the State House report on the murder has leaked to the media citing very shocking information.
Here is a Blind Item posted today on the website THE UGANDAN. It’s usually PRETTY RELIABLE when it comes to STATE HOUSE RUMORS.
The killing was masterminded by a one Bruhan (prime suspect), Hiigenyi Aramanzani, Ssentongo Ismail, Lukanga and Ahmed Mbazira. They had planned to exterminate Kaweesi a day before (Thursday) his shooting at Kanjokya Street where he usually visited a female companion or Quality Shopping Centre Ntinda but the Police boss didn’t show up at either location that day.
The assailants who had moved from Busia on Wednesday and camped in Mbiko, Buikwe District to pick guns for the shooting reached Kampala at around 15:00hrs and allegedly got in touch with Bruhan(already in Police custody) who had been monitoring Kaweesi’s movements.
On failing to kill Kaweesi on Thursday, the gunmen reported moved to Buwaate-Kyanja where they spent the night and on the morning of Friday were traced at 07:00hrs advancing to Kaweesi’s home in Kulambiro where they finally murdered him at 09:22hrs, the report shows.
We will keep you posted
