Kyadondo East Member of Parliament, Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has instructed Barclays Bank to immediately return the Shillings 29 million he received from Parliament as consultation money for the age limit Bill.
In a letter to Barclays Bank manage Acacia Mall branch, Bobi Wine says an unauthorized credit transaction of Uganda Shillings 29 Million was effected on his account No.XXXXXX0963 under reference No. EFT CR 15341217 PARL 19102017.
“To that effect, I hereby instruct you to transfer the said amount of 29,000,000 back to the creditor’s account. Any fee for this transfer can be deducted from my savings account” Reads the letter.
The Bank’s operations manager Nyende Ronald wrote back to Bobi confirming the refund to the Parliamentary Commission.
