Ntungamo students stab Health worker

Police in Ntungamo district has in custody three students of Hillside Academy for attempted murder. 

Derrick Amanya, Ahabyoona Musiime and Kelly Muhumuza were picked up on Monday night for the attempted murder of Moses Asiimwe, a lab technician at Itojo hospital.   

According to Samson Kasasira, the Rwizi Region Police spokesperson, the trio allegedly stormed Itojo hospital staff quarters and stabbed Asiimwe in the stomach.    

He is currently admitted at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital in critical conditions. Kasasira, says there are reports that the students have been threatening to attack staff at Itojo hospital for accusing them of stealing their property.
