The deputy speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanyah has Wednesday visited members of his house, Kyadondo East Member of parliament, Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine and Francis Zzake his Mityana Municipality counterpart who he says are still in pain.
The speaker said both MPs are still in pain as Bobi Wine remains in holding at Makindye Military barracks and Zzake at Rubaga hospital.
He says Kyagulanyi, was in pain but uniquely humorous. Oulanya further told journalists that the legislator feels pain in the back but is out of danger.
The deputy speaker however condemned the torture of the MPs explaining that the level of violence in the country is worrying.
The duo was arrested along with other MPs including Gerald Karuhanga, the Ntungamo Municipality, Paul Mwiru, Jinja East, Kasiano Wadri, the Arua municipality MP Elect and Mike Mabikke, the former Makindye MP together with 30 others on Monday last week for alleged treason.
Bobi Wine however, unlike the other legislators was paraded before the military court martial in Gulu on charges of illegal possession of a fire arm. Police insists two SMG rifles were found in his room at Hotel Pacific, in whose parking, the legislator’s driver was shot dead.
