High court in Kampala has ordered the chief of defense forces, Gen. David Muhoozi, head of CMI and Attorney General to produce alive or dead Eddie Mutwe, a body guard of Kyadondo East MP.
Mutwe was allegedly kidnapped/arrested on August 25th by military men at Ssemakokiro plaza in Kamwokya and his whereabouts remain unknown.
Today, his lawyer Eron Kiiza went to court to pray for justice. The same court ordered that the body of Eddie Mutwe be brought and presented by the respondents before the Honorable court on 4th September 2018.
“Unfortunately he has been held incommunicado without friends and family being able to communicate with him. Court has granted our application and ordered the military and government to produce Eddie Mutwe on the 4th of September this year” Kiiza said.
Mutwe was arrested while his boss Bobi Wine was in military prison. The latter has since been released and is recovering at Lubaga hospital. It is unclear why the bodyguard was arrested, abut such will be explained by the security agency holding him.
