Panic has gripped residents of Lwengo after they found a 27-year-old man killed and dumped in a well. Police identifies the deceased as Paul Mubiru, a resident of Ssenya Village, in Kingo Sub County.
The deceased’s body was found dumped in a well at Kiteredde Village, by a minor who had gone to fetch water. Area residents however, suspect that the deceased was killed from another place and only dumped in the area as he was unknown to them.
Latif Zaake the Masaka Regional Police Commander confirmed the incident, explaining that the body had been tied with ropes and says investigations into the matter are ongoing.
This is the second incident in a week’s time after another person, identified as Paul Kiviiri, was killed and dumped in the lake at Lambu landing site.
