The Deputy Speaker of parliament Rt. Hon Jacob Oulanya has shocked the nation when he stood before the president and announced that all Ugandans are corrupt.

The deputy speaker was speaking at Kololo independence ground after the first Anti-Corruption walk led by President Yoweri Museveni in Kampala this morning.

While delivering his speech, Oulanya said all Ugandans are guilty of abetting corruption, and called for internal reflection from everyone in order to stem corruption out of the country.

“We all are guilty as charged, let anybody challenge me Mr. President. I come because it’s a public show but deep down I know we are going back to practice the same corruption. Don’t wait to be a president of this country to fight corruption.” Oulanya said.

However, Oulanya was later challenged by the President who swore he has never stolen any public funds and that he was rich through the most honest means.
The deputy Speaker urged Ugandans to change attitude and stop corruption as this is a fight for everyone to champion.
