The Uganda National Examinations Board UNEB together with officials from the Ministry of Education will tomorrow Thursday 27th February 2019, release the 2019 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education UACE Results.
The event which is slated to take place at the President’s office auditorium will be presided over by the Minister of Education and Sports. It will also be attended by John Crysostom Muyingo the minister for higher Education and his counterpart Rosemary Sseninde the state minister for primary education.
Today Wednesday, UNEB officials are briefing the education minister on students’ performance at State House Nakasero ahead of tomorrow’s release.
The UACE examination ran from Friday November 8th to Monday December 2nd 2019 at 1,900 centers. 104,000 students registered to sit for the exams.
According to a program released by UNEB for tomorrow’s event, the results will be released at 11am. UNEB Chairperson Prof. Mary Okwakol will make opening remarks followed by UNEB Executive Secretary Dan Odongo who will read the release statement.
Thereafter, Prof. Okwakol will hand over the results to the Minister Janet Museveni for release.
As usual, parents and students will be able to check and know the results by SMS, while school heads will receive the physical slips later on Thursday afternoon.
