Police in Seeta Mukono district have in custody a security guard and his friend for attempted murder of their colleague.
The suspects are Francis Andama, a Security guard attached to SEK Security Company Services and Richard Bwire.
Patrick Onyango the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, says Andama picked a quarrel with Daniel Amala, a private guard with whom they were guarding Hippo Borehole Company at Namilyango near Our Lady of Africa in Seeta.
Trouble started after Amala hosted his girlfriend on the site and reportedly escorted her but returned with Richard Bwire, who is friends with Andama.
Andama who was charged, declined to open for the duo compelling Amala to force his way inside leading to a fresh quarrel.
As a result, Andama released bullets from his star pistol and hit Amala on the right arm. Seeta police was informed about the incident and rushed to the scene where they picked up Andama and Bwire. The duo is locked up at Seeta police station on charges of attempted murder.
Onyango adds that cartridges and a star pistol were recovered by officers who rushed to the scene.
