The Police in Kabale are investigating circumstances under which an unidentified woman was found dead in her rental house.
The Kigezi regional police spokesperson Elly Maate says the deceased’s body was discovered at around 22:30 hours on Thursday from her rental room on Patrick Sunday's houses located at Kinyunyutsi cell Upper Bugongi ward Northern division Kabale municipality.
It's alleged that, the deceased together with the husband and their three children rented the house on the 14/7/2020 and three days later, neighbors could not see people around, only the door was somehow open, when they fully opened, they only saw her lying on a mat and covered with a blanket. They alerted the area chairperson one Paul Bafaki who reported to police. Scene was Friday visited and body conveyed to Kabale referral hospital mortuary for postmortem.
In the room were ARV tablets, four boxes of the Rutaf food given to the Hiv/Aids victims, her emaciated body and the hair peeled off.
Also a child birth card issued at Nyamitiobora health centre Mbarara on 13/3/2019 to a one Ainepurani Isaiah, father is Sabiti Jack a mechanic and mother whom is believed to be the deceased, Orishaba Judith.
They were residents of Kisenyi Kakoba Mbarara.
