Police in Rukungiri are investigating the sudden death of one Karenzi Timothy Amooti 46yrs who is alleged to have been killed on 29/7/2020 during day time.
The deceased, a mutoro by tribe was a resident of Nyamambo cell, central ward, Kebison town council Rukungiri district. It is alleged that Karenzi left home and went to Kebison Tc where he took alcohol up to late hours.
Elly Maate the Kigezi regional police spokesperson narrates that when the deceased went back home, he told his son one Abaho Derick that he was suffering from headache and went to sleep.
However, in the morning if 30/07/2020 at around 7:00am he was found dead in his bedroom by one Nabimanya Allan a resident of the same address who reported to Kebisoni Police station that informed the main station Rukungiri.
Maate says scene was visited by District CID officer and a team of Detectives. Postmortem was also done and inquires at hand.

Police in the same area is investigating the death of one Mugabe Hebert a 31yrs old fish monger of Ncwera cell Rwenshama parish Bwambara sub county Rukungiri District.
Elly Maate says that on 29/7/2020 at around 6:00pm, the deceased returned home while drunk and entered his house where he stays alone.
On 30/7/2020, he did not surface at the landing site for his usual work. At about 5:45pm, the area vice chairperson lc1, one Kabudogo Willy and others went to check on him.
Unfortunately, on arrival, he was seen through the door gaps lying dead in the sitting room and the door locked inside. Rwenshama police was notified and police Rukungiri was informed and a team led by D/AIP Arimpa Victor visited the scene.
The body was taken to Rwakabengo HCIII mortuary pending Post mortem examination.
