Police in Napak district are searching for gunmen who ambushed and killed a businessman.
According to Michael Longole the Karamoja regional police Spokesperson, the deceased is Lorot Turon a 40 year old resident of Kamor village, Kanawat Sub County in Kotido District.
Longole says the deceased was shot dead on Thursday at around 11 am at Sinyu area along Moroto-Kotido road, while on his way to Kotido from Napak.
The killers also robbed 15 million shillings from the deceased.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the Boda Boda rider who was carrying Lorot connived with the gunmen.
Police has since arrested Lokong Chopai and Lomongin Bosco who were travelling with the deceased on the same motorcycle, to help in the investigation process.
