The territorial police at Jinja Road is the investigating a fire outbreak that led to the death of one person. The deceased has been identified as Okongo Dauda.
According to Luke Owoyesigyire the Deputy Spokesperson Kampala Metropolitan, the fire outbreak happened today at the home of Okongo Dauda at about 2am in Katogo Mbuya , Nakawa Division, Kampala City.
It was reported by Ouma Ismail Dauda relative to the deceased person .
The fire prevention and rescue experts responded to the scene and the fire was extinguished. Unfortunately, one life was lost.
The incident is currently under investigations.
The body of the deceased person has been conveyed to the city mortuary at Mulago for a post mortem.
