The joint security agencies recovered 8 guns from Karamojong warriors in the last week.
CP Fred Enanga the police spokesperson says they carried out disarmament operations and recovered 8 guns, 37 ammunition, while 16 warriors were killed.
The operations also led to the arrest of 56, while out of the 372 cows that were raided, 245 were recovered. Enanga also told the media at Naguru this morning that out of the 620 goats and sheep, 607 were recovered.
The joint security teams have been carrying out these operations to fast-track the disarmament of the warriors who terrorize locals by killing them and stealing their animals.
