Police Bundibugyo are hunting for Peter Isingoma a resident of Rwakasenyi village, Burondo parish in Burondo Sub County for hacking his grandmother to death and injuring two other family members.
The incident took place on Tuesday after Isingoma’s twin brother identified as Issa Kato was found dead in the river Semuliki when his boat capsized while fishing.
It is alleged that after the incident, Isingoma went on rampage and attacked their grandmother identified as Faith Kabonesa, hacking her to death.
The twin accused her of having a hand in the death of his sibling.
He then moved on and attacked two other family members who he injured before fleeing into hiding.
According to Bundibugyo District Police Commander-DPC Aggrey Okum, police are hunting for Isingoma and have opened up general inquiries into both incidents.
He says the injured are hospitalized at Rwamabale health center.
Isingoma turned against his relatives accusing them of bewitching their family.
Kabonesa's body has been taken to Bundibugyo hospital for postmortem as they arrange to search for Kato's body.
