The Minister for ICT and National Guidance, Hon. Chris Baryomunsi, has dispelled rumors that First Deputy Prime Minister Moses Ali has died.
Reports circulated on social media claiming that the Moyo East County MP had passed away under unclear circumstances on Tuesday night.
However, in a tweet posted on Wednesday morning, Hon. Chris Baryomunsi stated that the 83-year-old Minister is alive and well.
He added that Gen. Moses Ali, who is also the Deputy Leader of Government Business in Parliament and has previously served as the Third Deputy Prime Minister and First Deputy Prime Minister, is "alive and well contrary to social media speculation."
