12 pupils of Buwanda primary school, Masafu Town Council in Busia District have been injured after a building at their school collapsed.
The block collapsed during a heavy downpour in the afternoon of 02/03/2023, when the children were in class.
The injured children have been identified as Sanya Regan P4, Nandera Everline P5, Lyaka Hellen P5, Kato kelvis P4, Nekesa Magdalena P5, Wafula Geoffrey P5 and Kyamuwendo Isaac P4.
The others are; Ojambo David P4, Musedu Musa P4, Sanya Titus P4, Efumbi Jonah P4 and Muwanguzi Arafati P4.
IP Mugwe J Moses the Ag. PRO, Bukedi South Region says investigation are ongoing.
