The Police in Tororo have arrested four suspects following a murder of Nyafamba Justine a 40-year-old resident Sele B' South Zone, Tindo Parish Kirewa Sub- county Tororo District.
Nyafamba’s body was discovered in a cassava plantation 28/02/2023.
According to IP Mugwe J Moses the Ag. PRO, Bukedi South Region, the deceased is alleged to have been killed between 26th and 28th February 2023 at an unknown hour.
It is alleged that Nyafamba was picked from her home by Obbo Simon on 26/02/2023 at around 2100/C to attend a funeral rite ceremony at the home of Okoth Onzo.
However, the deceased did not return to her home till 28/02/2023 when her body was found lying lifeless in a cassava plantation in Sele B South village.
Officers from Kirewa Police Post under Nagongera Police Station (Sector Command) were notified by the chairman LC1 Omollo Walter and visited the scene.
The body was picked and conveyed to Tororo Municipal mortuary for postmortem. While four (04) suspects were arrested to help in investigations.
