Kyotera Police Launch Manhunt woman for murder of Co-Wife

According to police spokesperson Fred Ennga, Namubiru Jackie injected the victim with a syringe, which contained suspected poisonous substances.

The Kyotera Territorial Police has launched a manhunt for Namubiru Jackie, a resident of Lwanzi “B” cell in Mutukula Town Council, Kyotera district, following the brutal attack on her co-wife Nakimera Lydia, aged 23. 

The incident happened on April 20, 2023, at around 4 pm.

According to police spokesperson Fred Ennga, Namubiru Jackie injected the victim with a syringe, which contained suspected poisonous substances. 

The victim was rushed to Bulamu clinic and later transferred to Byansi’s clinic in Masaka City in critical condition. 

Unfortunately, she succumbed to the effects of the poisonous substance and passed away on April 23, 2023, at around 6:30 pm.

Enanga says that police strongly condemns such acts of violence against rivals in relationships and urged the public to seek the help of the Family Protection Units when faced with disputes. 

The Kyotera Territorial Police has initiated a serious hunt for the suspect, Namubiru Jackie. 

Enanga further urged the public to provide any relevant information that can lead to her arrest.
