The police in Mbarara City are investigating a sudden death of a passenger aboard a Trinity Express bus with registration number RAD 639G.
The incident occurred on May 10, 2023, at approximately 5:00 PM. The deceased has been identified as Nandujja Hadijjah, a 36-year-old female adult and a businesswoman residing in Lungujja, Kampala. Hadijjah had been working in Kigali, Rwanda.
The Trinity Express bus was traveling from Kigali to Kampala when the unfortunate incident took place. The police promptly responded to the case and subsequently transported the body to the Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital mortuary.
The exact cause of Nandujja Hadijjah's death has yet to be determined. Authorities are awaiting the postmortem report, which will provide conclusive information regarding the cause of death.
