President Yoweri Museveni has clarified that he was not responsible for restoration of kingdoms. Addressing the media at Rwakitura on Sunday, the president said he simply asked Ugandans who were interested in Kingdoms to restore them, but does not encourage, nor discourage them.
The president also clarified that he only missed the presidential debate on Friday to attend his rallies as he has limited time of up to February 16th to complete his campaign trail.
The NRM candidate also said he would not engage in debates, as they are for school going children.
Museveni says he does not have a single day to spend without going for rallies. On Friday, the incumbent president had three rallies in Katerera, bunyaruguru, ishaka, and says he could not have left tens of thousands of people for a debate.
President Museveni also clarified that if he had time, he would have attended, as none of the people in the race can beat him at talking.

The campaign trail continues today as Kiiza Besigye heads to Iganga, Dr. Abed Bwanika rallies Buliisa and Masindi Districts in Western Uganda.
Amama Mbabazi will traverse parts of Nakawa and Makindye division in Kampala, Baryamureeba goes to Mityana.
