As celebrations to mark the 30 years of NRM government under the leadership of President Museveni at St. Leo’s College grounds Kyegobe in Fort Portal, a section of Ugandans say there is no valuable cause for today’s event.

Reacting to a question posted on our Facebook, many youth claim Ugandans have been kept in peaceful poverty, diseases, poor roads, useless education, and many more, while others say the government has tried its level best to move Uganda from the poor country it was before NRA/NRM came to power in 1986.

We bring you the reactions;

Imma Kunda: To a bigger extent i think they deserve to be appreciated, look at the road sector,peaceful environment,health centres,education etc etc ......freedom of worship u knw.

Olima James: if magufuli can stop d whole independence celebration. wt z NRM day? leaders style up nawe.. d money ur wastin can do sm'thing more productive.

Okecho Limperi Raimond Am who iam coz of free primary education i had since my parents were all unable to educate me and am getting free health care.

Kevin Ajiko: Bad roads, poor health and education services, unemployment for the youths are all there is to celebrate.

Kisukye Moses: 30 years of keeping ugandans in peaceful poverty,disease,useless education etc,but soon we have hope of getting rid of the dictator!
