President Yoweri Museveni has denied allegations that he has continuously denied renegade Gen. David Sejjusa retirement.
Addressing a Presser at his country home in Rwakitura this afternoon, Museveni said Sejjusa has committed serious offences to which he has to answer.
"Sejusa has committed much serious offences. I am not denying him retirement. It's the army that grants retirement."
Museveni also denied vehemently reports that he was behind the arrest of the General on Sunday, saying “"No one in Uganda has power to order arrest. Arrest is done after laws you break."
He also wondered, "Why should army offload a troublemaker on to society?" Museveni says it's better to reform person before discharged.
