Military has banned live coverage of Gen. David Sejusa case at court martial this morning by the media.
Gen. Sejusa is this morning re-appearing at the court martial for his bail application hearing and hearing on whether the court martial has jurisdiction to hear his case.
His lawyers led by David Mushabe last week run to the High Court claiming they need to know if their client is still an actively serving army officer, or not.
This morning, Mike Mabikke, another of Sejusa’s lawyers said if bail application does not go through, they will opt for plan B which he does not mention.
“If the bail application fails, we shall go to the next phase. Lawyers always have a Plan B. Bail is granted at the discretion of the court. The court may or may not grant bail,” says Mabikke.
Sejusa is expected in court at 11:00am. He faces charges of insubordination, absence without official leave and participating in partisan political activities.
