Forum for democratic change, FDC Presidential candidate Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye is today taking the defiance campaign to Jinja, less than a week to general elections.
Last night, Besigye brok the record last night when he gave security (army and police) a very busy night when he campaigned in Kyengera around 9:30PM.
Supporters of Besigye who have been trailing him around Kampala for the whole week have also made it hard for him to address his main rallies. On Wednesday, Besigye could not address his main rally at Wankulukuku after he arrived at around 8:30PM, the time outside EC guidelines.
Yesterday at Kasenge landing site, the army guarded the FDC iron man as he addressed a sea of people.
The people were very defiant, forcing police to fire dozens of live bullets Kasanje but nobody moved an inch.
They would later escort Besigye to Kyengera where he addressed his fans that had patiently waited for him all day. Besigye will today address his main rally at Jinja Rugby Grounds.
